Assoc. Prof. Katarína Smatanová, M.A., PhD., serves as the Head of the Institute of Urbanism and Spatial Planning at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. She is engaged in both teaching and research activities. Currently, her research focuses primarily on issues of social disparities in space and the relationship between health and the urban environment
